Wiley X Eyewear is growing very fast in Europe. Thererfore we are looking for a skilled Commercial Manager for the European market.
Your tasks will include building and developing the following markets in Europe: Optician, Motorcycle-(including Harley-Davidson Performance Eyewear by Wiley X), pro-craftsman chains, industrial and establishing new markets. You will also be responsible for your own department and to carry out daily tasks such as: sales, general management, product planning, fairs and other activities throughout the EU, etc.
Most important is that you are the one who takes the lead, shows the line and takes responsibility for the department.
Wiley X Eyewear - is one of the world's best brands within the sun- and safety eyewear market. Wiley X represents the active lifestyle - from spectacles for sports, hunting, fishing, life-style, motorcycle and general safety glasses to artisans, industry, military, police, etc.
Wiley X has for many years been a leader in the U.S. market and is now ready to engage the European market.
This is where we need you.
We expect you to:
• Have proven experience in export sales. • Have experience in the retail area. • Can negotiate agreements at chain level both at home and abroad. • Have experience in management/leadership.
• Can speak and write English fluently. • Can speak German and maybe French - possibly at a slightly lower level. • Live max. 50 km from Wiley X Europe's European headquarters in Vemb. • Be willing to have min. 60 annual travel days. • Handle many tasks at once and still stay on track.
If you have one or the following qualifications, it will be an advantage:
• Experience from the eye care business/Optician. • Military Experience. • Experience from the motorcycle industry.
